  • In getting that flat, clear color instead of an HDRI, we check n"clear color" under display settings

make sure high poly is overlapping low poly this ensure that maps are projected correctly (i.e. normals, bump maps, etc.) Exporting Export as an .FBX file Settings: Smoothing groups, Triangulate and Preserve Wedge Orientation Assigning Color IDs If you apply the Material Multi/Sub Object to your meshes, the material IDs will appear when you import into Substance Painter.
